Weekly trash pick-up is scheduled for THURSDAYS at Meadowood Village. There will be NO pick-up on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. Pick-up of trash will be made on Friday.
Large or bulky items are not collected with regular refuse. This includes such items as furniture, appliances and mattresses. Burrtec will provide up to four free bulky item collections per year (12 month period). Use the phone number below to schedule a pick-up.
Christmas tree collection is provided free. Residents will be notified of collection dates. Trees must be free of decorations, flocking, etc.
Two trash containers are provided. The 95-gallon BLACK container is for basic household waste. The 65-gallon BLUE container is for recyclables. See the list below for what to put in each container. Trash placed in other containers, boxes or bags will not be collected. This is because collection is an automated process using special trucks.
Containers should be put out the night before, or no later than 6:00 a.m. on collection day. The trash continers must be stored in the garage by Thursday night.
WARNING! Please do not expose your trash collector or landfill to dangers such as Needles or Syringes, Hazardous materials including Paint, Pesticides, Batteries, Inflammable items, Radioactive or Toxic products. DO NOT place these items in your trash containers. The Rancho Cucamonga Household Hazardous Waste Facility is at 12158 Baseline. It is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Facility also will provide free containers for the disposal of used oil. These services are FREE.
NOTICE: If for some reason you do not have room for the blue trash container, or the amount or type of trash is so small that you would like to use only the single black trash container, you may contact Burrtec directly and make arrangements for the blue container to be removed.
